FAQ

EWOT, practical questions.

What is EWOT?

Exercise With Oxygen Therapy combines low to moderate intensity exercise with supplemental oxygen delivered through a mask. The idea is to increase the amount of oxygen available to tissue during exertion, particularly in patients whose recovery or exercise capacity is limited.

Who is it for?

Patients recovering from illness, patients with limited exercise tolerance, and patients inside our weight loss program who need a gentler way to build cardiovascular capacity. It is also used by patients with chronic fatigue patterns.

How long is a session?

Sessions are typically 15 to 20 minutes of active exercise, wrapped by a brief warm-up and cool-down. Many patients do it two to three times per week.

If conventional exercise has been too much, start here.
