Low-impact movement, honestly described.
Vibration therapy activates muscles involuntarily through rapid platform movement. A useful adjunct for patients with limited mobility or post-injury deconditioning. Not a substitute for exercise, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Vibration therapy, told straight.
Is a 10-minute session equivalent to a full workout?
No. That claim is common in marketing but misleading. Vibration therapy is a useful low-impact adjunct that activates muscles involuntarily through rapid platform movement. It supports circulation, lymphatic flow, and mobility. It does not replace cardiovascular or resistance training.
Who benefits from it?
Patients with limited mobility, post-injury deconditioning, or a need for lymphatic support often benefit. It is also used inside our weight loss program as a low-barrier way to add movement for patients who cannot yet tolerate more.
How long is a session?
Most sessions are 10 to 15 minutes. Frequency depends on the goal and the patient's tolerance, typically two to three times per week early on.
